1. Wash your hands and your baby's hands thoroughly with soap and water. 2. Find a comfortable and well-lit area to trim your baby's nails. 3. Securely hold your baby's hand, ensuring a firm grip on the finger or toe you are working on. 4. Gently press down on the fingertip to retract the skin away from the nail. 5.
