The Prada House was founded by Mario Prada in 1913. In its early years the company was dedicated to the design and sale of trunks, bags, suitcases and shoes in Milan. In 1978 the company underwent a major change under the leadership of the founder's granddaughter, Miuccia Prada.
In 1989 Miuccia presented her first collection of Prêt-à-Porter, and this new collection stood out for its elegance, simplicity and sobriety. In 1992 Miuccia presented Miu Miu, more economic and informal. In 2003 he entered the world of perfumery with the help of the Spanish Puig labs.
