Solgar Alpha Lipoic Acid 60 mg vegetable capsules. Alpha lipoic acid is found in cells and is structurally a fatty acid. It is soluble in hydrophilic and lipophilic tissues and is sometimes used together with vitamins C and E.
The body is able to synthesise a small amount of alpha-lipoic acid on its own, but adequate levels can be provided by taking foods such as green vegetables, potatoes, meat or brewer's yeast. In addition, we can add a food supplement.
