When handling, avoid grasping the micro-enema by the compressible pump, otherwise liquid may leak out when the lid is removed. Lubricate the nozzle by squeezing and using a drop of the liquid, then insert the nozzle into the rectum and squeeze the pump. Remove the micro-enema while keeping pressure on the pump and discard the container.
