Instructions for use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the nipples. 2. Sterilize the nipples before first use and after each subsequent use. This can be done by boiling in water for 5 minutes, using a steam sterilizer, or a cold water sterilization solution. 3. Ensure the nipple is securely attached to the Avent Natural bottle. 4. Before feeding, check the nipple flow by inverting the bottle. A few drops should drip out. If no drops come out, the flow may be too slow, and if milk streams out, the flow may be too fast. 5. Position the nipple correctly in your baby's mouth, ensuring a good latch. 6. After feeding, disassemble the nipple and clean thoroughly with warm soapy water and a bottle brush. Rinse well.
Recommended frequency: Replace nipples every 3 months or sooner if they show signs of wear and tear such as cracks, tears, stickiness, or discoloration.
Additional tips: These nipples are designed for babies 6 months and older. Always supervise your baby during feeding.
The fast flow rate is suitable for thicker liquids like formula milk or purées.
If your baby seems frustrated during feeding, the nipple flow may be too slow or too fast. Try a different flow rate nipple.
Store sterilized nipples in a clean, covered container.
Inspect the nipples regularly for any damage.
