It definitely has a low pH. Lactacyd is a great shower gel for keeping the pH of skin acidic before washing it off. That should help to remove most microbes that may be on one's skin. Many decades ago I used this for both myself and my young child. It's great for me, it could be great for you too.

Directions for Use: 1. Wet skin thoroughly in the shower or bath. 2. Pour a small amount of Lactacyd Derma Bath Gel onto your hand or a wet washcloth/sponge. 3. Gently lather the gel and apply it to your body. 4. Rinse thoroughly with water. 5. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
Recommended Frequency: Lactacyd Derma Bath Gel can be used daily as your regular cleanser.
Additional Tips: For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children.
