Topical treatment of Molluscum contagiosum (Molluscum contagiosum). The Moluvir product has an alkaline pH,with a cauterizing action that acts externally on the skin. It also forms a mechanical barrier to protect the lesion from those external factors that can worsen the pathology and prevent dissemination due to the invisible film that is formed when the product is applied. Molluscum contagiosum (Molluscum contagiosum) is a benign cutaneous viral infection caused by a virus that causes raised papules or nodules, with the appearance of a pearl on the skin. In general, the lesions begin with a small painless papule, 2 to 5 mm in diameter, which can become a flesh-colored nodule. Scratching, or other types of infection, causes the virus to spread in groups. It is a very common infection in children, since it is spread by direct contact, it often occurs in the face, neck, armpits, arms and hands. Use 2 to 10 days When the inflammation (redness) appears, stop the application of Moluvir. Inflammation is the sign of the definitive disappearance of Molluscum contagiosum, which will occur between the next 2 and 6 weeks. If a large number of Molluscum contagiosum are to be treated, it is advisable to first apply the product on 2 or 3 Molluscum contagiosum, as a test, to ensure skin tolerance to the product.
