How to use

Directions for Use:
1. Before first use, install or check the battery. 2. Disinfect the probe with alcohol or an appropriate antiseptic wipe before and after each use. 3. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button. 4. Select the desired measurement method: Oral, Axillary (armpit), or Rectal. Note: Rectal measurements are generally the most accurate, especially for infants and young children.
5. For Oral use, place the probe under the tongue towards the back of the mouth. Close the mouth and keep the thermometer in place until the beep sounds.
6. For Axillary use, place the probe in the armpit and ensure the arm is held close to the body.
7. For Rectal use, apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the probe. Gently insert the probe no more than 1/2 inch into the rectum.
8. Once the measurement is complete, the thermometer will beep. The temperature will be displayed on the screen. 9. Record the temperature. 10. Turn off the thermometer to conserve battery power. 11. Clean the probe again after use.
Recommended Frequency:
As needed to monitor body temperature. This may be more frequent during illness. Consult a healthcare professional if you have any concerns.
