How to use
Oral irrigation is indicated for people who want a deep clean, for orthodontic and implant wearers who need meticulous hygiene as they tend to accumulate more oral biofilm (bacterial plaque) and for people with specific needs such as diabetics and people with periodontal disease.

Directions for Use: 1. Ensure your Waterpik Water Flosser is filled with lukewarm water. 2. Attach the Orthodontic Tip to the handle of your Waterpik. 3. Turn the pressure dial on your Waterpik to a low setting to start, gradually increasing to your desired pressure. 4. Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth. 5. Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, but allow the water to flow from your mouth into the sink. 6. Turn the unit on. 7. Aim the tip at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. 8. Gently trace the gumline, pausing briefly between each tooth. 9. Pay special attention to areas around brackets, wires, and other orthodontic appliances. 10. Continue until you have cleaned around all teeth, both upper and lower. 11. Turn the unit off and remove the tip.
Recommended Frequency: Use daily, ideally after brushing and flossing, for optimal oral hygiene and plaque removal.
Additional Tips: For best results: Use lukewarm water. For sensitive gums: Start with the lowest pressure setting and gradually increase as needed. To prevent backflow: Do not turn the unit off while the tip is still in your mouth. Tip replacement: Replace the Orthodontic Tip every 3 months or sooner if bristles become frayed or worn. Consult your orthodontist or dental professional for personalized recommendations.
