Nearly all the sunscreen products approved by Yuka seem to be from Europe and nearly impossible to find in the USA. I was a little worried ordering from here but wanted the sunscreen. Directions for Use:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the pacifier. 2. Before first use, sterilize the pacifier. Recommended sterilization methods include electric steam sterilization or boiling in water for no more than 5 minutes. Microwave sterilization is NOT recommended. 3. Allow the pacifier to cool completely before offering it to your baby. 4. Inspect the pacifier before each use, especially the nipple, for any signs of damage such as tears, cracks, or stickiness. Discard and replace the pacifier immediately if any damage is found. 5. To offer the pacifier, gently insert the nipple into your baby's mouth. The contoured shield should rest comfortably against your baby's face. 6. Never force the pacifier into your baby's mouth. 7. Never tie a string or ribbon to the pacifier, as this could pose a strangulation hazard.
Recommended Frequency:
Offer the pacifier as needed for soothing and comfort, particularly during sleep or periods of fussiness. However, avoid prolonged or excessive pacifier use, especially during periods when your baby is actively feeding or interacting.
Additional Tips:
1. Replace pacifiers regularly, approximately every 1-2 months, or sooner if they show signs of wear and tear. 2. Always clean the pacifier thoroughly after each use. Dishwashing (top rack) is acceptable, but ensure thorough rinsing. 3. Never dip the pacifier in sugary substances or medications, as this can contribute to tooth decay. 4. If your baby is having difficulty accepting the pacifier, try different nipple shapes or sizes. 5.
