How to Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the teat. 2. Clean and sterilize the Calma teat before first use and after each subsequent use. This can be done by boiling in water for 5 minutes, using a steam sterilizer, or a Medela Quick Clean Microwave Bag. 3. Allow the teat to cool completely before use. 4. Fill a Medela bottle with expressed breast milk. 5. Gently screw the Calma teat onto the bottle. 6. Position baby comfortably in your arms or in a supported feeding position. 7. Gently touch baby's lips with the teat to encourage latch. 8. Allow baby to pace the feeding, pausing and breathing as needed. 9. Do not force the teat into baby's mouth. 10. After feeding, clean and sterilize the teat again.
